Lost count on how many time I’ve replayed this intro track. INTRO TRACK!!! Come ‘ere Lydia, Kush and Tablo. Take my money. All of it!! If you make this into a full song, I’ll even give you my house.

Oh lawd!! A lovely piano bgm and Ha Yi’s voice. Nothing to hate here.
One-Sided Love
People need to listen to this song to understand why Lee Hi’s voice is so special in kpop (and to understand why most of us think that she should’ve won kpopstar). She doesn’t need to belt sky high notes to make this song great.

Uni proxy is preventing me from watching Lee Hi’s new MV. That’s a good thing ‘cause I want my ears to do the judging here. I’m a huge YG fan but I can criticize the shit out of their songs if necessary. XP
It’s Over (TITLE TRACK)
Cute, jazzy and soulful. It’s a nice song but it’s not my kind of jazz. O.o I highly doubt that YGE producers used real instruments in this song. It sounds, err, artificial. MIDI did all the work here. And the beats, hello MPC. :))) Still, it’s a nice song. Could’ve been epic though. I don’t like saying this, but maybe the MV will make me like It’s Over more.
Tbh, I’m dreading on how the other title track would sound like. Teddy produced it, and this guy is so in love with synth. The only way to tame him is to put him in a room with Kush.
Special (Feat. Jennie Kim)
I like this song. My only complaint is prolly the rap section. It lacks, hmmm, the deepness and the volume that would suit the R&B vibe of the song. Lexy, Yubin or Tasha kind of rap would’ve made this 1000000x more eargasmic. Heck, Ha Yi’s rapping voice (watch her As Time Goes By perf) would’ve been perfect for this song.
I’m not hating on Jennie or anything, but I’m yet to be impressed by her. Why do I feel like YG wants people to like her stuffs? Anyway, she’s still young and there’s still room for improvement. I’m just gonna sit here and wait for her to do something “WOW! Fantastic Baby!”

There is no doubt that this lady belongs to YGE. She’s workin’ that crowd while singing Halo. Bow down.
You know, you can have the best choreography and lots of members, and that may gain a lot of attention, but in the end that’s all you’ve got. A lot of performances just lacked passion. And that’s something that YG Artists never lack. Nobody does it like YG.

After Tablo signed with our firm last September, Mithra Jin and DJ Tukutz have signed with the company as well. The trio will now pursue their singing careers as Epik High. We plan on giving our full support in their forthcoming activities. Right now, the group is putting the final touches on their comeback album which we hope will become available sometime in September.
